Quality Shafts - mechanically clamping shafts, Core shafts and Core chucks by Wistec
In the paper and foil processing industries, clamping shafts can be used for high web speed and/or in low runout tolerances. They allow for the precise winding even of sensitive materials such as metal foils. Mechanically clamping shafts by Wistec can be operated via a hexagon in the shaft journal. Mechanically clamping winding shafts can also be used to deliberately omit pneumatics in a machine. The mechanical clamping shafts from Wistec come in three versions: Mechanical clamping shafts with clamping wedges, mechanical clamping shafts with clamping bars and as mechanical clamping shafts with clamping leafs.
